CTQ Academic Encouragement Award
This Award is to provide financial support to an existing worker from the Queensland construction industry (with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a construction worker engaged in a ‘hands on’ capacity) undertaking additional tertiary study to advance their knowledge and to progress toward future industry leadership
CTQ International Skills Grant
This Award will provide financial support and other assistance to a person undergoing formal training in the construction industry to either:
- Participate in an international skills competition; or
- To undertake a period of structured workplace training in another country.
This Grant is discretionary and will be subject to strict selection criteria. Applications will be evaluated to determine the suitability of the candidate and their capacity to complete the undertaking.
CTQ Award for Distinction in Mentoring
This Award is to provide recognition of distinction in mentoring in the Queensland construction industry. The recipient is to be selected from nominees displaying distinction in the spirit and application of mentoring above and beyond what could be expected of them in their day to day role in the workplace. Recipients must have been mentoring for greater than 2 years and must be involved in structured mentoring arrangements.
CTQ Award for Merit Despite Adversity
The recipient of this award will be undergoing formal training in the construction industry and must have achieved distinction despite experiencing disadvantage and must have overcome adversity to achieve their goals.
